The economy is ranked as the third largest in Southeast Asia and 29th largest in the world. It remains among the 25 most competitive nations according to the World Competitive Yearbook 2017 compiled by Switzerland-based Institute for Management Development (IMD). Malaysia’s key strengths include political stability and a well-developed legal system with excellent infrastructure and productive workforce.
Recognizing the growing importance of Public Private Partnership in the economic development of a country, MAPE together with local authorities and partner agencies has kicked off a series of High-Level Executive Masterclass programme to promote Malaysia’s world class practices in numerous industries, to strengthen South-South cooperation, to empower and transform Goverments, Businesses & Investments between Malaysia & Africa.
From 17 to 22 May 2018, a high profile delegation of 13 Members of the County Assembly of Kwale got firsthand experience through business meetings, site visits and workshop on issues related to Water and Wastewater Treatment, Urbanization & City Planning, Rehabilitation of Mining Sites, Tourism Promotion among many others.
